Feelings about the G-43 are sharply divided. Call of Duty: Vanguard offers lots of weapons and players find it hard to justify using a marksman rifle that takes three full body shots to bring an opponent down. Despite listing the firepower as the highest, the damage itself is the lowest of the three options.
The good news is that a proper loadout does more than just assuage any fear about the G-43. The marksman rifle isn't much for a marksman rifle, but it can be turned into an exquisite assault rifle for those Call of Duty: Vanguard players that are cool under pressure.
It's always hard to level a weapon that doesn't have a corresponding operator. Unfortunately, the G-43 has to do exactly this. Favorite weapons get a boost to experience for the guns and for the operators that use them when combines.
That being said, players who have unlocked all of the operators will be able to use their favorite character without any mixed feelings. The journey might take a little while longer, but at max level, it won't matter which player uses the G-43, they'll do so as well as anybody else.
|Optic||MK 3 Mod. 2 Sunfilter|
|Magazine||8mm Klauser 8 Round Fast Mags|
|Ammo Type||Hollow Point|
|Rear Grip||Polymer Grip|
Of course, the G-43 can never have the firing speed of a true assault rifle, but thanks to the increased firing speed over other marksman rifles and superior bullet damage over the assault rifles, this is arguably the superior mid-range weapon.
Compared to the automatically unlocked starting weapons, the G-43 is a unique gun that can't be replicated. This loadout takes advantage of those quirks, turning it into a mid-range powerhouse that gives players advantages when actively engaged in battle.
- M1 Bazooka
Although this loadout doesn't rely on stealth, it also doesn't rely on speed, so carrying around an M1 Bazooka for support purposes isn't a terrible proposition. The MK 11 Launcher would be the next best alternative, but it's a mid-range weapon and redundant given the G-43's superiority at that range, there's no reason for it.
The M1 Bazooka will shoot vehicles out of the sky and on the ground. These killstreak rewards often reveal the position of enemies, so allowing them to run their course is unwise. Players will wish they had the M1 Bazooka to destroy vehicles while accomplishing the "Ticket Please" achievement, but having it in multiplayer is good enough.
|Perk 2||Forward Intel|
Imagine how much these perks would have helped out in a number of campaign missions. Fortified is a smart move for mid-range fighters that have to deal with grenades and projectiles far more often than their short and long-range allies.
Having reinforcements highlighted with Forward Intel allows the player to make sure new;y-spawned opponents don't get to sneak around behind them without some kind of knowledge. Given the effectiveness of explosives at mid-range, having an extra lethal gadget with Demolition can't hurt.
- Molotov Cocktail
If mid-range fighters have any complaint, it's that some of the maps are wonderful but leave plenty of debris and objects to hide behind. This is an even bigger problem for the G-43, which tends to play just behind the mid-range and, therefore, as a more narrow field of view in these tight corridors.
Thankfully, with a little bit of arm strength, enemies taking cover can be set ablaze with a Molotov Cocktail. Demolition allows players to spawn with two of these, so use them liberally. No enemy should be able to survive taking cover with a fraction of their health remaining.
- Smoke Grenade
The narrow field of vision issue works both ways as combatants will also have fewer viable opportunities to get a clean shot off at the G-43 holder. The Smoke Grenade further makes it more difficult for enemies to get a shot off against the player or their allies.
To be invisible from one direction for a few moments is precious time. This gun needs to line up just a few good shots and the SMoke Grenade provides cover for just long enough to rack up several kills against enemies in the thick of a firefight.
- Spy Plane
- Local Intel
Being able to see opponents before they arrive in a hallway will always be a significant advantage. Although Spy Planes can be shot down, very few players seem to be carrying around the devices able to take them out. All it takes is four kills to gain superior map awareness.
Warmachine persists through death and it excels at mid-range explosive combat. It does what the G-43 is doing, only faster, so players won't have to modify their style for the reward. Lastly, Local Intel reveals all opponent locations on the map. There is a reason it costs so much, but the G-43 is one of the few guns capable of reaching the twelve kills it takes to unlock it.
- Supply Box
Because of the smaller magazine size with the G-43, players will find the need to load up frequently, especially if they get on a roll. The Supply Box has a very fast refresh time, so using it liberally is encouraged.
Beyond restocking ammunition, this Supply Box works for allies as well, so it's a solid support item. Keep in mind that frontline combatants help push opponents back, so supporting them is great for reinforcing the battle on the front, allowing the G-43 to stay back and pick off enemies from safety.
